Licensed Therapist Intern/Associate

International Therapy Team PLLC is a pioneering provider of virtual mental health services. We connect clients with licensed therapists and therapist interns/associates to tackle a wide variety of emotional and mental health concerns. Our aim is to make high-quality mental health services more accessible, affordable, and convenient. Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients via secure, HIPAA-compliant video calls under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
Complete initial assessments and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans.
Monitor client progress, providing updates to supervising therapists and adjusting treatment approaches as needed.
Maintain detailed, confidential records of all client interactions and therapeutic sessions.
Participate in regular supervision sessions and team meetings to review cases and discuss therapeutic strategies.
Comply with all ethical, legal, and supervisory requirements outlined by your licensing board and the company.

Qualifications

A Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a closely related field, from an accredited institution.
Registered Intern/Associate status with a recognized state licensing board.
Willingness to operate under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
Basic familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, etc.
Comfort and proficiency in using virtual platforms and technology for treatment delivery.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
