Licensed Therapist Intern/Associate

International Therapy Team PLLC is a pioneering provider of virtual mental health services. We connect clients with licensed therapists and therapist interns/associates to tackle a wide variety of emotional and mental health concerns. Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients via secure, HIPAA-compliant video calls under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
  • Complete initial assessments and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor client progress, providing updates to supervising therapists and adjusting treatment approaches as needed.
  • Maintain detailed, confidential records of all client interactions and therapeutic sessions.
  • Participate in regular supervision sessions and team meetings to review cases and discuss therapeutic strategies.
  • Comply with all ethical, legal, and supervisory requirements outlined by your licensing board and the company.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a closely related field, from an accredited institution.
  • Registered Intern/Associate status with a recognized state licensing board.
  • Willingness to operate under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
  • Basic familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, etc.
  • Comfort and proficiency in using virtual platforms and technology for treatment delivery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
