Responsibilities

  • Observe and co-facilitate therapy sessions under the supervision of licensed therapists via secure, HIPAA-compliant video calls.
  • Assist in initial assessments and the development of personalized treatment plans.
  • Take part in case discussions and clinical supervision meetings to enhance your understanding and application of therapeutic methods.
  • Help maintain confidential client records, including session notes and treatment plans, under the guidance of your supervisor.
  • Engage in academic tasks related to the practicum, such as reflections, journals, or other assignments, as required by your academic program.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirements as directed by your academic institution and the licensing board.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Doctorate program in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • Eligibility to participate in a practicum as defined by your academic institution.
  • Basic understanding of therapeutic modalities and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, private space for virtual sessions.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
